A Spring Salute

Bob Carey, representing The Cultural Center of the Hudson Valley (ICCHV) and The Shamrock Run paid tribute to Bob Ryan prior to the 2018 Shamrock Run in Kingston.

One of the three people who started the annual road run in 1988, Bob served as race director for its first 25 years; and for every one of the 30 years his firm has been a consistent sponsor of the race, with this year marking the 60^th Anniversary of his Ryan branded family insurance business.

Bob was saluted at the starting line by ICCHV Executive Director Bob Carey as the Shamrock Run 2018 Honoree. Recognizing the high energy of the runners and their families, Bob saluted the tremendous spirit of community that makes the race a reality and that annually raises funds for a not-for-profit organization serving the community.
