Why Giving Back Matters
For Ryan & Ryan, giving back isn’t about writing a check—it’s about investing in the people and programs that improve lives. Whether it’s funding local events, supporting youth development, or assisting those less fortunate in our community, our hope is that each contribution helps create a lasting positive impact on Kingston.
When asked why supporting local nonprofits is important to Bob, he responded by saying:
“Kingston and the surrounding area has been so very good to my family and I for generations. I was brought up watching my father and mother contribute back to the community and so it really is just a part of my DNA.”
Bob went on to add:
“We made a decision years ago to do very little paid advertising. So we take most of our marketing and advertising dollars and spend them with community organizations—to help sponsor community events and support the great work they do. We are very lucky to have a partner like Erie Insurance that co/ops certain events with us, allowing us to make our marketing budget go a lot further than it would on its own.”
