Nostrano Vineyards, February’s Client of the Month, is a charming family-owned Hudson Valley winery located at 14 Gala Lane in Milton, NY. Sitting on a 65-acre farm, you’ll find 15 acres of apples, a couple acres of seedless table grapes, and most notably, more than 10 acres of wine grapes used to craft the winery’s collection of estate wines.
Grape and tree-fruit growing has been a tradition of the Trapani family since 1943. However, having studied Landscape Architecture at ESF at Syracuse University with a concentration in Winery Design and an internship in New Zealand, fourth generation Nicolas Bozzo saw more potential with the land. So in 2010 he took over, establishing Nostrano Vineyards on the family farm.
Nostrano Vineyards sits atop a “picturesque hill overlooking a serene farm and vineyard vista.” The winery is open year round with winter hours on Saturday and Sunday and spring/summer/fall hours Thursday through Sunday. The winery features a rustic chic tasting bar where you can enjoy wines, local cheese boards, and regular live music. And when the weather warms up, take your drinks al fresco to catch the sunset. In addition to being a great spot to meet up with friends and family, the vineyard is one of the Hudson Valley’s idyllic wedding spots. Reserving a limited number of weddings annually, Nostrano Vineyards offers breathtaking views, a beautifully restored barn, creekside space, and more.
