Dietz Stadium Diner, January’s Client of the Month, is a family owned and operated restaurant conveniently located in uptown Kingston at 127 North Front Street. The establishment has been run by Elenie and Xenaki Loizou and their partner Andreas Zambas since 2007. The diner has been in Elenie’s family for three generations, started by her grandfather, then run by her parents George and Myrofora before they retired and sold the business to Elenie, Xenaki, and Andreas.
Dietz Stadium Diner serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner any time of the day! While they have an extensive menu with something for everyone, some of their most popular food items include wraps, paninis, stuffed French toast, and various eggs Benedict selections. For dinner, their most popular dishes include the souvlaki gyro platter, Greek rice bowl, meatloaf dinner, lasagna and chicken parmigiana combo, portobello burgundy steaks, and hunter style pork chops.
The diner is typically open seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Although note that due to the pandemic, their current hours of operation are from 7am-8pm Sunday through Thursday, and 7am-9pm on Friday and Saturday.
Dietz Stadium Diner has been insured by Ryan & Ryan Insurance Brokers for more than two years. When asked why they chose R&R as their insurance agency, Elenie responded by stating:
