Kingston Wine Co., January’s Client of the Month, is a wine shop located at 65 Broadway in downtown Kingston, NY. Owned and operated for more than eight years by Michael Drapkin, the store has an impressive selection of wines and spirits and makes for a truly unique wine shopping experience.
In 2013, after an externship on a farm in southern France and almost 15 years of wine experience in Washington, DC and New York City, Michael relocated to the Hudson Valley to open Kingston Wine Co. Passionate about educating others on all things wine, Michael has curated a vast selection of varietals at the shop and is always eager to help customers find the perfect wine for every food pairing or occasion.
At Kingston Wine Co. you’ll find classic, traditionally made wines with a focus on those that are biodynamic, organic, and natural. And while the shop’s main focus is wine, they also stock their shelves with a nice selection of spirits, cider, and sake.
The shop is open to walk-in customers seven days a week from 12pm to 7pm, and for those that feel more comfortable staying in their car, curbside pickup options are currently available as well.
