Barbara and Gerry Cuffe opened Kingston Physical Therapy in 1984 and served their patients for more than 30 years before retiring in 2017. In 2005, Patrick Zell, PT, DPT, OCS joined the practice and became co-owner in 2007. He states that the Cuffes were “incredible mentors who were infused in the community and instilled the importance of ensuring patients‘ rehabilitation needs are served at a level of excellence.”
Today, Zell owns KPT along with Lauren Fahrenkopf, and the two have grown the practice to seven therapists, two occupational certified hand therapists, and one physical therapy assistant. They continue the longstanding tradition of serving the residents of Ulster County through their rehab journeys.
KPT provides a variety of care services including physical therapy, hand and occupational therapy, sports rehab, and athletic training. The clinic offers two locations, one in Kingston, located at 340 Plaza Road, and the other at 4080 Route 28 in Boiceville, and works with most major insurance companies.
