Wolfgang B. Gourmet Foods was started by Wolfgang Brandl in Saugerties in 1991 after falling in love with the Hudson Valley during his many trips to the region from his home of Vienna, Austria. The company is family-owned and run by Wolfgang, along with a handful of other employees who all pitch in wherever needed to ensure the food is of the best quality.
The all-natural food company began with a line of fresh, refrigerated pasta sauces—Wolfgang’s signature pesto, marinara, vodka, & alfredo. From there, Wolfgang expanded his offerings to include dips, spreads, salsas, and sauces. In 2007, Wolfgang restored and expanded an old farm in Catskill into a state-of-the-art, 10,000 square foot facility. Today, the company is certified to service clients big and small.
