ImmuneSchein Ginger Elixirs, May’s Client of the Month, is a local company that produces high quality ginger elixirs, created by husband and wife team Jason and Corinna Geib. Their Tea Haus, located at 1776 NY-212 in Saugerties, NY, carries not only the company’s ginger elixirs, but organic loose leaf teas, baked goods, and many other local handcrafted items.
The idea for ImmuneSchein Ginger Elixirs stemmed from the herbal traditions Corinna’s grandfather taught her in Germany as a child. Since then, she always had an interest in the health benefits of ginger, using it to concoct her own elixirs to help with everything from headaches to colds and upset stomachs. In 2013, Corinna and Jason decided to take a leap and share their concoctions with others, and ImmuneSchein Ginger Elixirs was born.
The majority of Corinna’s time is spent at the Tea Haus, in addition to handling employee management, scheduling, administrative work, customer service, and overseeing the procurement for both the Tea Haus and production. And while Jason does spend some time at the Tea Haus assisting Corinna and the team, the majority of his focus is on the production process, website, marketing, farmer’s markets, festivals, and distribution.
According to their website, each ImmuneSchein Ginger Elixirs is handcrafted in small batches, taking the utmost care to select, prep, and bottle their products, ensuring that customers have the most pristine, pure, and natural elixir on the market. In addition, all of their elixirs allow you the flexibility to use them as a ginger shot or “become a foundation for creating your favorite ginger drinks, cocktail, mocktails, ginger detox drinks, juices, smoothies, or culinary ginger recipes.”

The Tea Haus is open Thursday through Monday from 10am to 6pm. There is seating available indoors as well as on their sunny patio, and you’ll find countless delectable treats and refreshments (in addition to their elixirs and teas, of course!).
