If you’re from Kingston, then you likely already know about Joe Beez, September’s Client of the Month. The sandwich shop, located at 456 Broadway in Kingston, is famous for their sandwiches which they’ve been serving up since 2001.
Owner Joe Baganz’s vision was to open a sandwich shop that specialized in delicious combinations with unique names, and that’s exactly what he did. Joe Beez offers more than 100 different sandwich combinations, with something for everyone including vegetarian and vegan options, and for those that are gluten free, any sandwich can be made as a salad or on a bed of lettuce to omit the bread.
Some of the shop’s most popular sandwiches include The Prodigy (grilled chicken breast with bacon, house made BBQ sauce, hot sauce, cheddar cheese, and bleu cheese dressing), The L.T. (grilled chicken breast and a grilled ¼ lb chopped fresh burger patty with bacon, hot sauce, pepper jack, cheddar, and Thousand Island dressing), The Big Daddy Kane (grilled ¼ lb chopped fresh burger patty and grilled chicken with bacon, house made BBQ sauce, hot sauce, and cheddar cheese), The Godfather (a classic Italian combo with capicola, pepperoni, salami, ham, provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and house Italian dressing), and The Duke (grilled chicken breast with Bacon, grilled onions, house made BBQ sauce, and American cheese).

The sandwich shop is open Monday through Friday for breakfast and lunch from 7am-3:30pm, Saturday from 9am-3pm, and closed Sunday. Orders for pickup can be placed right online from their website, by calling them at 845-331-2363, or of course in person at their Broadway location.
Joe Beez, which is now run by Joe along with his siblings Greg and Rebecca, has been insured by Ryan & Ryan Insurance Brokers since January 2020. When asked why they chose R&R as their insurance agency, Greg responded by stating:
“Joe and Bob [Ryan] have known each other for a long time! For me personally, I like that both companies give back to the community and have been around for a while. I believe it’s a very good fit.”
Greg went on to add:
